Featured Group of the Month

The Garden club started in the spring of 2000. A group of dedicated parishioner's came together at that time with a mission to beautify the school campus and have fun along the way. In the past 3 years we have landscaped in front of the gym (affectionately known as Charger Lane), planted 11 new trees in front of the school, built 10 raised beds behind the school for educational purposes involving the students of St. Mary Magdalen, planted flowering perennials under the PTO sign and helped purchase a St. Mary Magdalen statue that is now located at the front entrance to the school.

Our goal at this time is to maintain the landscaping around the school and offer fresh vegetables throughout the summer months to our parish families from the seeds the students plant each spring.

For any questions about the garden club, please contact Sally Doheny at stmmwebmaster@gmail.com.

St. Mary Magdalen Parish is a thriving community with a mission of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, administering the sacraments, exercising charity, and providing education.

In the Gospel of St. Luke, St. Mary Magdalen is mentioned among the women who accompanied Christ and ministered to Him (Luke 8:2-3). We at St. Mary Magdalen continue her ministry by worshipping the Lord through hymns, Mass, and prayer and ministering to others in the community.

The history of St. Mary Magdalen Parish goes back to 1912 when the first Mass was celebrated. The school opened in 1922 in a two-story, brick building. Many buildings later the Parish has celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1987. Our current Pastor, Msr. Morris arrived in 2009.

We invite you to journey with us and serve the world and community Christ loves so dearly.
